steering wheel removal

I will be upgrading my steering wheel soon, I did some research over the internet and it seems pretty simple. I only have one question and I am hoping that you guys can give me information about this. The upgrade is from oem 4 spoke to oem 3 spoke. My question is after removing the 2 bolts in the back then the center nut, does the steering wheel comes out easily when pulled by hand or do I need a tool to pull the steering wheel out of the shaft?. The reason I am confused about this is as we all know that there is a tool that can be purchased at any auto store to pull out the steering wheel out of the shaft. The DIY instructions was not mentioned about this procedure. Can anyone please provide me with information on this.

It should come off easily by hand.

Caution: Disconnect your battery for at least 30 mins before removing the airbag.
