993 windshield install and antenna

Hey 993 types. I'm having my 89 930 painted and I hear that a 993 windshield will fit.

I have a couple of questions for you guys:

1) Is there an antenna in the glass?

2) The glass glues in, but how does the seal work? Does it get put in after the windshield? Is it the same seal as the 964, or a different seal?

Thanks for the help.

Phil

The antenna is in the glass. Can't remember if the connectors are the same.
It's not really a seal on the 993 but more of a trim strip. I goes on the glass and then everything gets glued in.

There are two trim pieces. One fits over the window flange prior to gluing the glass in. The second one snaps into the groove in the plastic trim that comes with the windshield.
