964 Indicator

Hi There, I have a 1992 RHD 964.
The indicator will not return to centre after turning a corner. (both directions) has anyone had this problem. It looks like I have to remove the steering wheel (airbag fitted) to get at the indicator system, is this just the two hex screws, one on either side?
Regards Simon "Swampy" Marsh.

1st disconnect your battery for at least 4 hours - 24 better so the bag does not accidentally go off when you remove it.

The indicator return is probably broken. Could be on the steering wheel, but more likely the turn signal mechanism. You might want to price the replacement before you decide it is worth fixing.
