				Screen washer jet

When I use the screen washer

(off steering column) it continues to jet/dribble water onto the screen, long after the switch is released. would that be something on the stalk playing up electrically, or a problem in the plastic plumbing itself Thanks

After looking at the PET on this, there appear to be four valves, 2 each side, in your system to prevent this leakage. I vote plumbing problem.

The culprits then would appear to be

items 9 10 a couple of valves in the principal washer circuit, but what is likely happening, I suppose what I mean is, with no power pumping water through circuit, what is producing pressure to cause this leak/dribble, and how do these valves fit in please thanks

The circuit has pressure in it from the pump. I presume if the check valves have failed, then fluid can dribble out - there's also a small venturi effect on the nozzles I assume.

As you can see in the PET, all the hoses are held on the barbs by small clamps (17).

			Anyway Don

they look the most likely and cheapest first repair option, out of interest though, what might have occured to make BOTH fail and how might I test each of them individually er do pelican sell them as well cheers
