How to convert 993 Turbo trans to 2wd

What is involved with converting a 993 turbo trans to a 2wd?
I've made a bunch of calls...guard transmission, motor meister, and a few others and have had some trouble getting a clear answer. Any articles or references?

I've also heard a rumor that all you need to do is switch the nose-cone to a C2 nose-cone.

Thanks, Russell

The easiest way is to remove the front cover, remove the VC, then replace the cover with that of a C2. Not hard at all.

The pinion extension is cut off, and a front housing (nosecone) from a 993 is installed.
