'91 964 battery suggestions
all,
I went out this morning to drive my garage queen to work for the first time in a long time and he would not start. Dead battery. I use a maintainer and have started it every other week to run for a 45 minutes or so. This battery is old, I know it needs to be replaced. What battery would you recommend for my usage scenario? I will be driving it more in the warmer months. My wife watching the dollar amount and will protest if the price is out of the ordinary.

People will recommend an optima battery. However, those may not qualify with the wife, as they are well over $100. I have had very good luck with the WalMart brand batteries in all my vehicles. And if they should go out, you have a nationwide network of stores where you can bring them back to. $65 for my 993 battery last year at WalMart. It has the correct size, output and vent. You are probably aware of the fact that there are only a few battery manufacturers that supply all the stores.
