Question 89 C4 Power Steering return hose replacement

Hi Gang,

89 C4
Does anyone have a Porsche factory service manual or any other reference they could look up the procedure for replacing the power steering return hose from the rack, back to the front of the tunnel?

I got the hose in from the Porsche dealer and after removing the undertrays and the driver side front CV joint, I have the hose loose. However, it looks like the front diff is going to have to come out to remove and replace the hose. I was hoping I might be overlooking a simpler way to snake the old hose out and the new hose in.

I think I will consider cutting the new hose and splicing in a rubber hose before dropping the differential. The pressure should not be an issue as the end of the return hose is clamped with a hose clamp in three other places between the front of the tunnel and the reservoir at the engine.

Thanks in advance for any help with the R&R procedure.
