Embarassing to ask, but - How do I remove a litronic bulb?
 

'96 993 Turbo...

Getting the fixture out and opened up is easy, as is pulling the D2S cord. Where I'm getting hung up is the metal clip/clamp that holds the bulb in. So far as I can tell, it's a simple push in and turn counterclockwise thing, but I simply can't get it to turn.

Do I just need to press harder and use more brute force, or is there some elegantly simple solution that I've completely missed?
