Is a 964 a good winter car?
I am considering selling my Audi and getting a 964 Carrera 4 to use as a daily driver.
I've never really studied this era of 911, so some advice is needed. What are the pros and cons of using a 964 as a daily commuter through 4 extreme seasons?

My 964 cars have the best heating systems of any car I've ever had - water or air cooled. I get warm air withing a block of starting it.
Oh, and the awd cars are a blast to slide. |

Ok, 2 extreme seasons. My decision will come down to general maintenance and reliability. I've heard 964s have a bad rap, should 4wd problems occur.
My (argument) is that I don't know how nor do I care to work on an Audi. But I will endeavor to wrench anything on a Porsche. My 911 will continue to be my summer / track car.. Question is.. will I regret it for any reason vs. sticking with something newer? and... where is the best place to look for a 964 for sale?

Carrera 4 is the best winter car- I towed my friends BMW out of someones driveway with a pair of bald Perelli P-Zeros on my car. If you lock the diff, there is no holding the car back.
It has my vote.
