1992 vs 1990 speedo, a good one.....

My car is a 1990 W/ all of the abs components removed from the car.

It is possible to fit a 1990 speedo sensor on a 1992-1994 transmission?
If yes, how?

Is the machined hole (for the sensor) there on a 1992-94 gearbox housing?
Is there a disk with magnets (for signal) in the 1992 box that is missing?

Thanks.

I believe it is possible my Cup car is 1990 with a 1991 box. Te speedo does not work.

My mechanic tells me the box needs a toothed wheel added into the LSD to give the speed reading. The sensor pics up the speed signal from wheel.

I don't have the list of parts yet. I think you can use the later casing and fit the parts.

Good luck
