Viscous coupling, required caution

How sensitive is actually the viscous coupling system in all-wheel-drive 993?

I guess it's obvious that all wheels should roll when towing. What about MOT, when brakes are tested?

MOT brake testing is done at a very low (<4mph) speed and will do no damage to the viscous coupling.

Why, what kind of damages do you expect it the car is towed without a flatbed?
