help with odd size caliper?

have a 993 race car with mismatched rear calipers (pistons are different sizes side-to-side.) would like to find a mate for the one with the larger pistons but i dont know what car these came off of. anyone an expert in this area?

calipers are the big red shells with ear mounts. pistons are 30mm and 36mm. is that enough info?

thanks for help, bill.

probably

there are only 2 largish(though not big red large) rear 993 calipers.

one is the 993RS 30/36, the other is the 993tt 28/28, I have seen references to a 28/30 that may have been used on 993 C4S, but I've never seen one

all use the same pad as a n/a 993 front caliper

the Big Red pad & caliper is ~10mm taller, in this pic you can see back to front 993RS(aka big Red), 993RS rear(aka993 front), 993 rear

As long as you have an effective 40/65 lsd, I would prefer the 30/36 over the 28/28

thanks, bill

you'd have to check through the dealer channels
993.352.425.80 /L
993.352.426.80 /R

Pelican lists them @ $591.25ea

I don't know who or what "porsche tech data" is but I have those rear calipers on both my 911 & 993, they are 30/36
