965 sunroof won't open, pulls only one one side
 

I figure I snapped cable or so, but can anyone walk me through the diagnosis or can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Mark ,possibly unzip access panel rear of headliner and check which motor has seized or died..
may also be a cable connection or link ,most of sunroof mechanism is right behind your head.
it could also be jammed one way or the other ,blockage of some sort,start there...Bert

"which" motor? The darn thing has TWO motors? wow.

964/965 sunroofs are the same as the older ones, there is one motor.

The usual cause of only one side working is broken cable or cable end.

Get the roof open and out of the car, you can then see what is broken or jammed.
