hi all,
recently purchased an original 50 000 km RHD 1993 964 "project" car. has been partially stripped (front and dash)and never rebuilt 10 yrs ago .currently missing dashboard, guages, centre console, brake master, booster, and abs pump abs computer and hydraulic distribution module. Also missing is heater control flaps and servos. I have found a LHD wreck with most parts (except dash parts). I was wondering whether anyone knows if brake and abs parts and heater servo and box are interchangeable between LH and RH drive? Also are dash and guages interchangeable between LHD and RHD 964 or 993 cars?cheers from downunder doug |

Gauges you can swap(they're both in kms i assume?) but the dash will have to be replaced with rhd.

That could be a very serious undertaking ..I would be quite diligent in info researching before
buying ,ask me how I know? A lot of the major brake and ABS componentry is interchangeable but the ancillary hydraulic lines may not be. actually the steering rack and brake booster can be swapped but again the lines to connect to master cylinder and ABS pump may differ. you may need to get closely associated with a Porsche fiche or parts supplier(eg;dealer) to obtain the schematic. On my effort to rebuild one or two it pays to have those in spades! thanks Bert
