cam shaft seal & o ring changeout
Anything special about changing the seal and O ring on the cam shaft end that drives the power steering pump. Do you need pullers to get the gears off? (Hope it is not as bad as changing the starter). Anything else I should do while i'm in there. Looked at previous posts did not find much.

I did not need a puller. The timing pulley just slid off the camshaft journal once I got the bolt off. Most of the work is from moving stuffs out of the way.
I had to take out the pass side wheel, secondary muffler, pass side valve cover shield and tin and had to loosen the oil line close to the power steering belt drive housing so I can move the housing and replace the o-ring. I also changed the spark plugs and checked the valve lash on the pass side while it was accessible. I did the other side when I installed the cat bypass 3 months later. The o-ring replacement is the most challenging one. O-ring replacement: ![]() Oil seal replacement: ![]()

Thank you very much for your detail, this will help a lot. I'll let you know how it turns out. I am going to change the oil return tubes at the same time.
