Question That cassette thingie?

The one just aft of the handbrake in my C2, that's the one. One of the cassette holders stands a wee bit above the rest, opens at a touch of the obvious button ... but the others prefer to stay where they are. How does one get 'em to work?

Most people just pull it out altogether and repace it with the 993 change cup. I can get the part number for you if you like.

Cool! I'd be grateful for it. Thanks!

Seahawk,

I got some like that for my H1 from a marine supply store $10 each.

It's funny to see that model in car parts catalogs and websites for the $50 price range!

Cup holder for a 964

If I understand from the description above what is needed to get the 993 cup holder to work in a 964, Do I also need the material holder insert for a 964 and the 993 cup holder?

They didn't have the leatherette, but the rest of it was about the same... a little creativity can make a set that blends with your interior... if you want plain black plastic - $10. :-)

If I remember correctly, each cassette holder is an entirely seperate piece. One of mine stuck up more than the rest, so I disassembled the whole thing, and put it back together, so they were all the same height.

Ofcourse, I then bought the parts and replaced it with the tray and insert. I am much happier with the tray.

Bill
