Post Restoration of 993 4s '97

Hey bros,

I decided to open a new thread for pictures of work on my 993 4s which had a frontal collision.
I decided to make an 2 S out of it...

Here's a pic of the refurbished rear wheel for the start:

Mine had a front right impact but nothing too serious...I didn't take any pics of that. The main project on mine is that instalation caught on fire behind the climate control and damaged the upper dash, then painting of the whole car as last owner changer from silver to black (??).
Now the car is completely apart, engine out for painting as well.

I'm back in Serbia, yes, there is another one also with a front impact,I took a picture of it but I think it's unrepairable...

Great to see one being rescued. Search for posts under username Rattlesnak who did a very similar rebuild.

Found it and read it

He had more work over the front then I will have...but he passed bringing together the mechanics and electrics and that's what scares me the most, especially that burned part (although I bought a complete front part of instalation).

Here's a pic of new front Potenzas RE 050 A, I decided to buy them instead of old S 03 that I have in the back...what's interesting is that they're not N rated like S 03 but they claim it's a far better tyre, new technology and all...

They're quite expencive at 590 euros (860 US $) a pair (front 225/40 18) overhere...

At least they gave me some nice Bridgestone wheel caps

Painting is going very slow so there's really nothing to show so far,my painter works only part time painting so I have to be patient,he's like an artist at it but extremly slow...

Here is winter so I'm not really in a hurry so still working on these little parts and building it step by step, bying all the rubber sealings new...

Finally the warmer weather has let me do some work on assembling the engine intake and main blower...here's the result, int the back you can see the transmission.

To my horror I found that I'm missing the whole additional blower (for heating) assembly...if anyone has it I'll be happy to buy it...

that car looked like it has taken a serious beatin... I would imagine if that was a honda or anything else, it would look much worse. Hate to see a nice example of a 993 in that condition; however, it really shows how well these cars are built.
