New to the forum with starting problems

I’ve lurked here for years and just finally registered. I’ve got a small problem and thought someone here might be able to suggest a quick fix. A few months ago my 1990 C2 wouldn’t start. The car would turn over however it didn’t sound as if it were getting a spark. The following day I checked the fuses etc with no luck…I then simply wiggled the wires on both distributors and afterward….she fired right up. The car has run perfect since. Today she started as normal but quit after a few seconds. I tried my above methods once again with no luck. It turns over but doesn’t sound as if it’s getting any fire. I’m not great with electronics and have basic mechanical skills at best. If anyone can give me pointers to look for I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks so much
KW

Start with the common stuff:

Replace DME relay

Then check battery charge, fuel pressure, rotors, cap, coils.

Those are the most common culprits.

Rennlist has a great 964 forum as well if you want to search there.
