Newbie here,I thought I would say hello

My name is Rob ,and I have been visiting this site for almost 3 yrs. now.I purchased a 92 /c2/964 / tip last yr. and am finally getting to have some time to get involved in this great site.I work out of town alot, almost 11 months a yr.

I bought the car in NY.at Cannillo motorsports , in Deer Park. I didn't know anything about a PPI for these cars, I just saw the car and went to look at it the next day , drove it checked everything you can by sight and ear, thru gears, steering hard, backing up, looking for leaks etc.
as I have been around cars for a long time.

Anyway I have driven the car hard, slow in traffic , highway, backroads fast and the P car, drives perfect in all situations. I paid 22,000 for her and I think I got a good deal as she is in great condition in and out with carfax cert 55,000 miles on her. I will try and post some pics

I was wondering if anybody knows of a good mech, in this area that I can take her to and get checked out . and a few things done to keep up the maintenance.

welcome Rob

I am fairly new here but have been following the site for a while as well, i have never seen an arm rest like the one you have, did it come stock with your car or did you buy it separately?

vahena 03-02-2009 06:12 PM

Hello afast16v
Yes it came with the car but I have the orginal receipt for it ,the armrest flips up out of the way and also has a cup holder inside. I will try and get you the part # and where he got it from.

shop in PA

There are many good Porsche shops in WC, PA. I just moved from Downingtown. Both Dougherty and Performance Automotive are very good. I have used them both.
Next go to the local PCA web site http://www.rtr-pca.org/vroom-vroom/index.html

Good luch and enjoy.

Rob
