Wheel Guru's
I damaged an 18" turbo twist a year ago and it was repaired. However I am concerned about using it for a DE. So I have been looking for a replacement.
The correct part number is 993 362 140 01. There are precious few single wheels for sale on this and other P-car sites, so I expanded my search to eBay. There I found plenty of singles. The concern I have is that the part number is 993 362 140 04 which appears to be coming off a 996 based car. Am I reading the tea leaves correctly on this and an "04" will not work? Thanks for any and all guidance.

When I got my 17" Turbo Twists. I checked the OEM # and they came off a 1998 996.
By the way, the price new from Porsche is around $1,000.00 per wheel. I paid $350.00 for a set of 7" & 9". Be aware that there are copies out there, not OEM, if that matters to you. |

Your wheel is a hollow spoke?
Part number 993.362.140.01 is a hollow spoke 10x18 et65 wheel which is fairly rare to find. They weigh quite a bit less than the solid spoke equivalent which is part number 993.362.140.04.
I don't think you will want to mix hollows with solids on the same car.... JP
