Sea Foam?
I have about 230k on my 993 C4S. The odometer broke about 4 years ago so I'm guessing thats about how many miles are on it. I have read about sea foam and watched videos on you tube about how to use it. I have even read about people how claim to have lifter tapping or noise after using it. I think it sounds insane to warm up an engine and suck the product through a vacuum line then let it sit 10 min. Then start it back up and rev the S__T out of the car at 5 to 6 grand for 2 min.
Have any of you guys used this? Do I need to change the oil after using it? What would you use? |

No we dont use that. I would have valves adjusted. Use 50W. I use different kinds in dif cars. Motor doesn't need that. Any concern of motor's condition may be explored with leakdown test. Best case you are good, someone did top end prev. Or motor may need top end rebuild where replace valve guides, couple valves, rings etc.
Regards,
