Random earth/ground, any ideas what this could be?
I'm currently fitting new carpets in my 1990 964 c2 and discovered this random earth on the right hand drivers side which someone has helpfully cut in the past, anybody got any ideas what this is? Thats the earth in the middle of the two pictures with the blue crimps. I have another random earth on the engine management system plate which I will try and put up later.

Not factory so I wouldn't worry about it at all. Probably was an aftermarket alarm of some sort.
