Porsche Crest 90 964 Loud oil noise

I have a 90 964 and it has a loud oil noise inside the car comming from the oil tank area. I believe it is coming from the hose going from the thermostat housing to the filter along the wheel well. It sounds like a water fall. Has anyone seen this and is there a fix for it?

Is it after you have it running for a fe minutes?
If so it is just the oil warming up and stating to flow. Some are louder then others

you can hear it wile sitting but it gets even louder when driving. I know some noise is normal but this is way to excessive.

Some of my 964's do it and some don't with my 89 being the loudest. I don't worry about it as I think it's just normal oil circulation through the oil tank.
Maybe the mount's / isolators weren't good enough??

Mine did the same thing when I bought it. The noise went away when I changed the oil. I wonder if the PO was not using as thick a oil as I am?

I think we are going to replace all the oil lines from the tank and the thermostat. they are all old and need replacing any way. we are thinking possably that they are hard and rubbing against the body making it amplified.
