overdue fixing a few 965 things: help?
Thanks Guys, I spend much more time on my 928T & 944TS than the 965, so I need to make some time up.
1. Sunroof won't open: pulls to one side 1/4" then stops: does it have separate cables? possible that one broke or came off a pulley or so? 2. Sunroof seal coming un-glued: anyone replace this yet? 3. Need pass seat front/back sliding motor with gear on it: anyone have one? It's the motor under the front cover at the front base of the seat. 4. Battery drains daily due to "stereo booster" fuse connected. If I remove the fuse (& kill the stereo), drain is removed & car runs normally. I plan to re-wire the stereo to another fused source outside the existing wiring, unless anyone has other ideas. 5. Clutch pedel sometimes sticks 3/4 the way up, & I have to use my foot to pull it all the way up. System is fully bled, heard there was a spherical ball adjustment or so that needed to be done: thoughts?? 6. Need a driver's side fog light: anyone have one for sale? thanks! Mark.

Mark,
My 965 has a list just like yours. Let me see if I can help. 1. There is a looped cable. If you unzip the headliner you can see part of the assembly. I have heard that you can use the old cable to pull the new one through if it is not completely broken. 2. No help. 3. Best bet is the Porsche swap meet in Hershey, PA on April 25th. Very hard to get Recaro seat parts. I need the front plastic cover on the driver's side... 4. Stereo booster power should come from a 4.0 red wire connected to terminal M32 on the fuse panel connector that is hot all the time as you say. I wonder why there is a power leak in the booster. It should only draw power when it is getting a feed from the radio (the multi wire DIN connector). It could be a faulty relay in the booster. 5. I had the same issue with my clutch. Spaying the bushings with a light oil seemed to help but it still sticks if I let up slowly. 6. Sorry, I have no fog lights (Hershey, PA). I need two seat heater relays, a HVAC servo, a fire extinguisher and mount, some tool kit pieces, and a trunk release handle cover. Good Luck, Mark
