1995 993 clutch pedal "issue"!!!!
Ok, I am doing a clutch "tune-up" on my 993 (see my other thread "1995 993 cab") and my friend, Chris, suggested we bleed the slave cylinder while it's easy access, with the motor about to be lifted into position. Like most 993 owners, my clutch pedal NEVER came back to the top position. I figured I needed to lube the master cylinder shaft in the interior, as another thread suggested. Well..... after looking into my brake reservior (??) i found this crap!!!
![]() and more crap!!! ![]() That's a 6mm nut.... for size. After bleeding the system and using new fluid, the pedal is awesome, right back to the top. Thanks Chris.

And that's why you flush the brake fluid every two years. I've heard more stories about gunk in the brake hydraulics due to old fluid. Glad you got it out and have a real clutch again.
With as much gunk floating through there, consider bleeding four or five liters of cheap fluid through the system - pull the bleed nipples, really flush it.
