Catalytic converter no heat shield?
Just got a replacement catalytic converter from D.E.C. but it does not come with a heat shield. My OEM shield is welded. Called D.E.C they said I did not need one and they never had any problems. Is that so?

It's a 964. It does not come with the bracket for the heat shield . BTW where did you get the aero mirrors. I'm looking for a set of SY.

I think it should probably be okay as I am sure you aren't running the undertray.
The aero mirrors I bought used right here in the pelican for sale forum. They pop up from time to time. Just disassemble, paint, and redo the wiring. The one thing that did throw me off is the mirrorbase's contact patch is different so make sure your paint is okay underneath.
