964 Oil tank drain plug?
A friend recently bought a 1990 964. He cannot find the drain plug on the oil tank?? Is there a different set up for draining the oil tank on the 3.6 than the 3.2 that I am familiar with?? Thanks.

Should be same as my '92, you'll see the tank and oil lines in the rear passenger wheel well just in front of the tire, the plug is in the frame just below the tank.

The plug looks almost like a nut supporting the body skirt.. it's a few inches from the tire (you can't miss it)

its not actually on the tank. its on a plastic 'y'pipe piece that hangs down below the tank.
