I have two questions, the first is does it matter which side up the sealing rings face for the heat exchanger when reinstalling them?
![]() And the second is what valve covers do you prefer OEM? or after market billet aluminum? My stock covers will not stop leaking and are probably warped |

um, Thanks for trying I found the answer in my trusty 964 enthusiast's companion. for anyone who wants to know the the seals have a fine seam on one side and are flat on the other side. the seam faces the heat exchanger.
I would still like to know everyone's thoughts on the valve cover question |

Mine were the early magnesium ones with flaking paint. Got billet which look nice and have had no leaks.
