2 things drive me crazy

I've recently developed 2 problems with my 964 that so far have gotten me stumped.

1 the airbag/seatbelt lights have come on and I can't figure out what to do about it. My friend at the local dealer said it's most likely the seatbelt sensor but I can't find a fault with that when I check it with a meter so if that's the case it's a fault further up the wiring harness.

The other is the driver's side flapper box is always on heat. Are these repairable or do I have to find a donor car to replace mine as I haven't seen the boxes themselves for sale anywhere. Are they even accessible? I know they are way different than on my 77 so it could be a lost cause??
