cam angle

Can anyone help me set the proper cam timing of my 964? It seems I couldnt set the correct cam or crank angle on cylinders 1-3. The injectors wont feed fuel while at 3-6, the injectors feed fuel. The car would idle but when you shift to D on the tip, it bogs down.

Any previous work done on the car?

Did you check compression on all cylinders?
How did you know some of the injectors were not firing?
How about the spark? Are the spark plug wires in the right cylinders?

I had the engine rebuilt to fix oil like and change rings. I had problems doing the cam timing. Anyways, I was able to get a manual from one of the pelican parts tech forum. It needed a special tensioner tool so i had one made and set the cam timing at 4deg BTDC & 56 deg ATDC.

The compression on all cylinder was at 210. When you take out the injector connectors, there was no response on cylinders 1-3. When you disconnect the injector at cylinder 3-6, the engine responses and shakes. All the sparks were OK and all spark plug wires were properly connected. We even used a Bosch Hallman 9288.

After the cam timing, the car is running now. The response to the pedal is excellent. Thanks a lot.
