Spare Tire Compressor

Evidently my '89 C4 is missing the air compressor used to inflate the spare. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement spare-tire air compressor.

Hi Timatt,

I would try a used Porsche parts place or e-bay. The compressors are NLA from Porsche so used is the only option.

Expect to pay around $200.00 from a recycler. Cheaper elsewhere.

Our 993 was missing it's compressor too.

I just bought one off the PCA Mart for $50 you might want to look there.

If you are not particular, just go to SEARS and pick up one of theirs. I think the main thing is that it works when you need it to. It is always hidden under the carpet so it's not like it needs to be OEM. It'll save you a ton of money.
