New brakes ...

For the first time since I own the car I went ahead and changed the rotors on the big reds. $$$ But what a pleasure to work on these brakes - I was impressed how light the calipers are and how shiny the new hardware looks . And finally - not the slightest squeak from the brakes ...

I kept the old rotors - I may put them back for track days together with the pagid oranges. Does this at all make sense? I would hate to burn those new rotors up and worse, get them back to squeaky land ...
