97 993 Front Seat does not slide fwd

My front seat, only slides forward on one of the seat rails. So when it is advanced forward it only slide along one of the two rails leaving the seat position at an angle. I am guessing that they may be two motors to slide the seat forward, and perhaps one is out? Anyone have a solution on how to fix? Thanks.

There is one drive motor with 2 drive cables for fore and aft adjustment, one for each side. When I got my car there was loose change stuck in the seat rail on the right side and that was enough to strip one of the cables.

If you remove the motor cover you will see the cables they just slide in and have a clip to hold the cable cover in place. They are just a square drive kind of like a speedometer cable.
