question about 964 rear reflector panel
Does anyone know what the inner bulbs are for mine do not work, just bought the car and not familiar with it yet. I'm thinking tail lites. The outer lites are backup. Thanks for any info.

If you have the Euro reflector the inner bulbs are for the high intensity rear fog lights that are mandatory in Europe.

964 rear reflector panel
Thanks for the info but I'm missing something. Next to my back up bulbs there is another bulb which is a single filliment 1156 style bulb. I'm still guessing additional running lites because they are ment to shine thru the red reflector lens. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can check to see why they don't work? Any other geusses on what they may be?

I told you what they are in the previous post - rear fog lights. The reason they don't work for you is that the US cars don't have a switch on the dash for them. The bulb will be a standard 21w single filament bulb and they would normally (in a RoW car) be switched via an additional switch on the dash with an orange logo. They will only operate when the front fogs (green logo) are switched on.

You can convert these non-used lights to bake lights, by connecting them to your existing brake light circuit, I believe there is a DIY on p car.com.
