993 '95 Power loss
Have a '95 3.8 with a Tiptronic gearbox. Bought used a year ago I've recently noticed that the the power can sometimes cut out momentarily especially when using the kickdown or when in the +/- mode. It's nowhere near red-lining when this happens and can be quite alarming when overtaking.
Anyone know where the fault lies ? |

hello
i would start to check the rev limiter then, i would scan the OBD interface of your vehicle; it can be transmission related, as you have a tiptronic trans. this is why it's very important to plug your car to have an accurate diagnostic of your engine and transmission. best |
