on/off instruments
Please Help with the electrical instruments in my dash board when I'm running my car, try to accelerate, or fall in a street hole, all the electrical supply goes down for seconds and return back; I review all the electrical connection, fuses, and relays, but continue the problem

These types of problems can be tricky. I would suspect that you have a common ground wire that has come loose. You may need a schematic to trace this and then a lot of patience to find it.
Are all the dash lights going out then coming back on? If so, that may be a loose ground. Good luck. |
You need to put the car year model on your signature
As an example, these are the ground points for a 1990 964. Look for the instruments ground MPXV. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1267031280.jpg Here is the location: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1267031301.jpg If it's not the ground, then it's a loose power wire. |
Check your ignition key socket. I have a problem with the contacts. When it's running sometime the radio cuts in and out, so does the A/C fan, and headlights. Wiggled the key in the ignition and it's the culprit. Now I need to find out how much it cost to get a new ignition switch and rekey it :(

You don't want solid race mounts. The part listing 965-375-049/050 are correct for the 993 fitment.
For half the price, I recommend the Wevo mounts with blue pillows. The engine carrier is P/N: 99311502190 and is a special-order part. Don (PS: Please don't type in all caps) |
I will merge this with the engine mount thread...

Also happened to me... had to tow the car for 100 km... :(
Have a look at Rennline's site, they make a good reinforcement solution. |
