ABS pump/motor won't shut off

Weird thing happened the other night, my battery was dead. I got a jump start, but when I got home I noticed my fuel pump keeps running when the ignition key is off. The only way to make it stop is to disconnect the battery. Some other weird things that might go along with it, is the car was in storage for about three months this winter and when I started driving it again, now when I start the car the Porsche Security System engages automatically, and I have to manually shut it off all the time. If the car is running and I open the door without shutting it off (the security alarm) the alarm goes off. Also, it has an intermittend hot start problem. The car turns over instantly when cold and starts nicely, but if I've been driving it for any time, once it's warmed up, then it's very difficult to restart. It sounds like it's "coughing" sort of, or wheezing. I can turn on the key and let it sit for a minute and sometimes that helps, but usually I just have to try to start it four or five times, then it will finally take.

Any help where to even start with the fuel pump running and are these potentially related?

Thanks!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!
Actually, after getting into the car, and removing the carpet and such in the trunk, I realized this is not my fuel pump running, but the ABS motor/pump. Explains why my ABS light is on. Now, that being said, any help where to start here?

Update!!!!!
OK, checked the brake fluid level and it was at Min, so I purchased some DOT 4 brake fluid and topped her off. Guess what? The pump or what ever it is stopped running like magic! Yeah!

Now, for that pesty alarm. It seems to click on, the right back off again now. What's up with that?

With regard to the ABS pump and low fliud, you need to determine why your fluid went to minimum. That stuff doesn't evaporate, so you must have a leak somehwere in the system.

With regard to your security system issues, it may be battery related. You said your battery had died. Make sure the battery is strong and holding a charge and that your charging system is functioning properly.

Will do on both counts, and thanks for the input!

If the 964 is a 89 or 90 C4 the relays should have been changed a long time ago, the relay sticks on and the pump runs, burns out, melts the wiring harness and hydraulic feed line.

There are two relays, I always change them both. And the DME relay if it's also old.

Common issue, well documented and a TSB from Porsche. Not cheap to repair if the pump is damaged.
