996 exhaust for 964

I'd like to know if the 996 exhaust system could fit to my 964

Unfortunately it will not fit. The differences are massive.

Other than you were trying to fit, what were you trying to accomplish? Many of the 911 guys are taking the nice heat exchangers off the 993 which are stainless steel and modifying the flanges on the right side (rotate) and they are using this very high flow system, but you still have to make an muffler, which M&K can do, and decide about a cat or if you need to pass a visual and smog check. Just did this mod on my 964 - added a dual in dual out magnagflow muffler to the 993 exchangers. Sounds extremely good, will dyno soon to check air/fuel ratio and any hp gains; actually added AFPR for potential increase in gas needs.
