CEL P1140 fault code
Dealer AND independent mechanic seem in the dark with this problem. Dealer found MAF to be bad and indy put in for me. Fault continues. Idle or load senor seem involved per 993 book.
Anyone run into this before? Paul |
Hi Paul,
I was wondering if you were every able to resolve this issue? |
I had this fault and struggled for quite a long time and spent lots of money on swapping parts and hours of diagnosis. It turns out that my car had a K&N air filter. Once I went back to the factory paper filter, the 1140 code disappeared.
