SF Bay Mechanic sought for ABS/ABD lights

I have been dealing with ABD (green and red) ABS (anti-lock) lights for some time.

Recently, I got them to go away for several weeks. But on a drive last week with a bit of wheel hop around sharp Mt Tam roads, the lights are back on.

It's more than just lights, the brake pedal is pulsating as if in an emergency stop when just driving or coasting up to a stop sign. Hitting the brake pedal seems to make it go away, then the lights go off. This cycle keeps repeating.

My wife took the car yesterday and came back saying that I've got to take it in.

Having already spent $200 at one shop, without any success I"m looking for a shop that has some experience with this type of issue. He was able to reset the ABS light, but couldn't get into the ABD/ABS system.

Any shop or mechanic suggestions?

You need a shop with a PSTII. I don't know about the East Bay, would recommend S Car Go in San Rafael.

A bit of a drive, but when I need a mechanic I turn to Bob and Dan at RMG in Sunnyvale. RMG Enterprises - Home. Well worth the drive as they are very experieinced with 993s (they have the PSTII tester mentioned above).

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm would like to say it's fixed, but haven't brought the car in and it's been parked for a couple of weeks as I gear up for a vacation. Probably wont get to deal with this until August.
