DME "brain" testing service ?
 

Anyone know of a shop that can test the DME "brain" from a 1990
C4 Cab ?

A call to Porsche revealed that the factory only sells "rebuilt" pre-964 DME brains
and "rebuilds" only pre-964 DME brains. They will only sell from the factory a
NEW$$$$ 964 and newer DME brain at something like $1,400 !!!!!

So hopefully someone knows of someone (Wayne ?)
where I can ship my DME brain to get tested.

PS: I assume that all the 964 model year DME brains
will work in any year 964 car ?
