964 turbo 3.6 service manuals
Dear all
Further to my earlier post about my decision to purchase the 94 3.6 turbo, are there service manuals available? I have looked at the usual sources and they dont seem to be available. They have been an incredibly useful asset in maintaining my 928gts and I would really need a set for this car as well. I sent a pm to one fellow who indicated he had them but no response thus far. Dennis,
Congrats on your purchase. There are service manuals offered from the factory although they have become rather rare in the past 5 years or so. Depending what you want for info the set includes the primary manuals for the 964 C2/C4. I have a set it consists of 7 volumes. You can pick one up here. Porsche 911 Books & Technical Documentation - Page 2 then there is the 1991-92 turbo manuals which include updates for the 3.3l turbo then there is the single volume for the 94 turbo 3.6. If you are lucky enough to find an updated three volume turbo set it should have most of the info required for the 94 turbo but this is not always the case. I have a spare turbo 3.6 manual but you would still need the others and I am asking a lot for it due to its rarity. If you are interested let me know. BTW there are also spec books which you should own giving you all specs and torque info and TSB's which come up for sale on ebay occasionally that correct errors or make changes to updated item.
