+1 That's a bada$$ looking 911 you have there. I think she's just screaming out for a set of RUF/935 mirrors! Welcome to Pelican. |
thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
and yeah, haha... I will be ditching the flag mirrors and I had a 935 style mirror in mind for the drivers side only. :) I bought the car a month ago so I still have alot to do... I only lowered it and put the wheels on last weekend. :D before.... http://i54.tinypic.com/2hydo4o.jpg and today.... http://i56.tinypic.com/9i5z6t.jpg If anyone is interested the wheels are the new R-Worx RPM, very reasonably priced at $2900/set. R-Worx some detailed pics of them..... I havent installed the caps quite yet. http://i56.tinypic.com/2psf8dw.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/2ujo02x.jpg |

What 935 mirrors are you talking about? The ones that fit inside of the window frames? It's a lot of work (and $$) covering the Flag mirror holes! I also wanted to get rid of my Flags and found a way to mount "retro" mirrors on the flag mirror base. Just another option... Have fun! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1285685366.jpg |
Dan,
Welcome to Porsche ownership and a good model choice. Your ride looks good. If you haven't already joined the Porsche Club of America (PCA), then I'd mention that we have a very active club in Southern California, it's the Orange County Region (OCR) and we meet for breakfast, the 1st Saturday of every month at Original Mike's Restaurant in Santa Ana, Ca. (30 minutes drive south). I've attached the link for your information. Come join 100+ Porsche owners for breakfast and talk cars. PCA - Orange Coast Region If you want something closer, the Gran Prix Region (GPX) holds their monthly breakfast meetings in Long Beach at; 4750 East Los Coyotes Diagonal, Long Beach, CA 90815-2825 - Google Maps |
I love Grummen! They made the bestest JET EVER. Well maybe not bestest but coolest and closes to my child hood heart. THE F14 TOMBCAT.
Dan, I like the wheels and the car, good looking machine. |
What a transformation! Looks great!!
