Another New to me

Porsche!

Been without since selling my '88!
As of Saturday, new in the garage is a 1995 with 51,000 miles!Dark blue, I believe Midnight Blue Pearl (L39C)?

Pictures coming after a wash this weekend.

In reading the owners manual, the Max AC switch does not seem to work properly.
Yep, we are still warm in Florida to test it!

Any tips to trace it?

Thanks!

Thanks, will pop over!

Re- the switch. I believe there is some dust, oxidation inside the switch from lack of use. 1995 and only 51,000 miles. Going by receipts, not used much in the last 4 years.

I can cycle the switch a few times, and it starts to work, so I will keep working it.

Congratulations on your purchase. I can't help with your ac issue but +1 on what was said above regarding Rennlist. There are a lot of knowledgeable people over there and the site is very active (like the main 911 board here)'

Define "does not seem to work properly". You'll have to be more specific.

Mine failed to work first thing this year after winter storage. A few minutes later, I noticed the split vacuum hose on the manifold. Fixed in 5 minutes.

Found the issue. I could push in the switch, and the light would activate, but none of the functions, such as compressor, fans, flaps, would activate. After working the switch for a few minutes each day, it is now working reliably. Probably dust from non-use by PO.
