964 struts on 993????
I found a pair of adjustable front struts with a 964 number on the rod boot.
Do these fit on certain 993s ??? |

They will fit if you open up the lower holes on the struts to match the bolt size of the 993 wheel carrier-to-strut attachment bolt.
I installed 993 spindles on my 964, and kept my 964RS stuts. That was the only mod necessary.

OK, Thanks.
Apparently, the rubber dust boots on the factory 993 struts have 964 part numbers unless someone swapped them. I found the 993 Monroe part numbers after I removed the springs. |

Don't waste your time with the Monroes. They are shot by about 40K miles.
