question about 964 trip computer backlight
 

hi , just trying to figure out if my trip computer backlight is working normally

I replaced the bulb as it was blown , when i refit it and turn ignition on the backlight comes on - great , but when i turn off and take key out it stays lit and shows trip miles ...... is this normal !

the only way to get it to go out is to lock the door with the key ....

can anyone confirm this as normal ? seems a bit odd it doesn't go out when the key is removed?
