Changing gear oil in Tiptronic Trans Question
Changing the gear oil and replacing the filter in my 93 964 tiptronic trans. How much gear oil will be drained. Owners manual shows a total capacity of 2.4 gallons. Will I get even close to that amount drained out. Any recommendations on this and a good brand of ATF fluid as well? Thanks

Not sure about capacities but if you have an owners manual the figures in the back are accurate. I've heard of a few folks having trouble with shifting smoothness using the Mobil 1 gear oil. I think the stuff availabe from our host fixed a few of those issues. Good luck!
