'92 964 Fuse Question--Need you help
My car came with a 25 Amp fuse in position 25 on the fuse block. That is marked
as "auto transmission" and my car is a 5 speed. I've taken it out and the car seems to run and operate everything just fine. Could you give your car a look and tell me if you have/have not a fuse in that #25 slot and what the amp rating for the fuse is? Thanks again Pelicans. Craig722 |

Pelicans.
Need some help here. Open your boot and help me out. Craig |
Just looked at my92, fuse 25 is cig lighter and heated seat, and has a 25 amp fuse, 27 is shown as auto trans, mine has no fuse there.
If you removed that fuse your car should run fine, but no smoking and your rear end if so optioned, will be chilly in the morning. Take another look, either way cars runs and you don't need heat in Fla. Mark |
'92 964 Fuse Question
Thanks Mcharus for that response. You are entirely correct. # 27 is for the Auto
Trans and should be empty if you have a manual tranny. Good thing I didn't need to use the air compressor to pump up the spare or a leaking tire. I would have been screwed out on the road when the cigar lighter wouldn't work. Thanks again, Craig |
