Torque specs on fasteners
Double checking all fasteners before I take it out for a spin tonight after doing the engine drop for clutch and oil leak repairs. Are these torque specs correct?
Engine mount: 60 ft-lbs transmission mount - to body : 30 ft-lbs Rear coil over lower bolt: 140 ft-lbs Axle to tranny output flange: 30 ft-lbs (blue locktite) Shift linkage to tranny shift rod: 17 ft-lbs (blue Loctite?) Thanks.

I found the correct axle bolt torque value:
Engine mount: 60 ft-lbs transmission mount - to body : 30 ft-lbs Rear coil over lower bolt: 140 ft-lbs Axle to tranny output flange: 30 ft-lbs (blue locktite) correct value : 60 ft-lbs Shift linkage to tranny shift rod: 17 ft-lbs (blue Loctite) Clutch pedal effort impression: Test drove the car last night. I was amazed at how much lighter the clutch pedal effort was with new clutch and updated fork shaft with bronze bushings instead of the needle bearings. Now, I have to stop my double clutching habit because it just shifts smoothly with a single pedal push. Next project will be the shift rod universal joint bushings. I noticed the bushings have a little amount of play and might crumble into pieces if not replaced soon. Engine drop well worth doing !
