Internal Door Damage

With the above freezing temperatures today, I foraged into the garage to have a look at my project list.
1. Hood struts. Followed a fantastic thread that showed how to replace them, only had a bit of trouble with the passenger side bottom, trying to lift the clip back up and onto the ball with the coat-hanger tool with two arms around my neck and a flashlight in my teeth. Done.
2. Driver door panel. Again, followed a very detailed thread for its removal, went smoothly. Got to see the internal damage from the weak door metal and the pulled-through door stay. Appears to have been poorly repaired once before. I have the door stay repair kits for both sides so I'll do it right.
3. Peered in to see why I need to push the glass on my cab door to get the glass to jump into the roof frame seam. The bottom window bracket was broken, allowing some play in the window. Will source a replacement part shortly.

All in all, a great day. Love tinkering with the car.

Peter
